About the project

Aerobotics is a data analytics company that makes use of aerial imagery and machine learning algorithms to solve specific problems across a number of industries, including in agriculture and insurance.

More project information

Aerobotics uses regular satellite imagery and drone flights to monitor crops and warn about potential risks. It aims to increase accuracy and save time by planning targeted scouting trips. For a more efficient agricultural outcome, it seeks to provide accurate statistics for orchards with every drone flight including on tree health, tree counts, individual tree size and canopy area. It provides management zones to plan irrigation probe placement, soil and leaf samples and apply variable-rate fertilizers with smart tractors.

The project seeks to contribute to the UN’s SDGs by using cutting-edge technology which is able to solve various societal issues such as reducing hunger and boosting industry innovation, which can facilitate sustainable cities and communities.
